Andrea specializes in civil and commercial litigation, with particular expertise in commercial disputes and personal injury matters, focusing on insurance coverage litigation, general liability coverage and commercial litigation. She represents and advises a diverse range of clients, including well-known insurance companies. In addition, Andrea brings a distinguished background in family law, advising and representing clients in divorce, custody disputes, maintenance, property division, adoption and abduction cases—and handling these sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
Her dual specialisation allows her to offer holistic legal services that combine a deep understanding of financial and commercial legalities with the intricacies of family law. Andrea appears before the District and Supreme Courts as well as the Administrative Court on an almost daily basis. When not in court, she provides strategic advice on business operations, drafts and negotiates contract terms, and prepares legal documentation tailored to her clients’ needs.
Andrea earned her LLB from the University of Manchester in 2012 and her LLM in International Commercial and Business Law from the same institution in 2013. She was admitted to practice by the Legal Council of Cyprus in 2014 and has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association ever since. From 2014 to 2023, she practised at Chrysses Demetriades & Co LLC in Limassol.
She is fluent in Greek, English and French.

Yiannis Malachtos holds an LLB (Hons) from The University of Manchester, awarded with Second Class Division One (66.8%), and completed the LPC LLM (Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice) at The University of Law with distinction. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2020 after passing the Bar Association exams, became a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in March 2023, and achieved a 100% result on the Cyprus Bar Association’s Compliance Officer exam later that year.
From September 2019 until December 2023, he practised litigation at Patrikios Pavlou Associates LLC, advising on banking and finance, property and commercial law under both national and international frameworks. In 2024 he founded Malachtos &Co LLC, located adjacent to the District Court of Limassol, where he serves as liquidator in both members’ voluntary liquidations and court‑ordered winding‑up proceedings, managing complex asset realisation and creditor distributions prior to company dissolution.
Since July 2022, Ioannis has also been a member of a football club’s executive committee and acts as the club’s legal counsel, drafting employment agreements and representing the club before sports tribunals and regulatory bodies.
